For many years, Rawdah worked as a behavior analyst in Norway, focusing on the plight of mental health within young demographics. Her occupational experience has led her to be called upon by entities such as UNICEF to promote the topic's importance on both social and legislative grounds.
In 2021, Rawdah initiated the social media campaign #HandsOffMyHijab as a response against restrictions enacted by the French government, generating immense global conversation and media coverage, including features in The Guardian, BBC Hard Talk as well as a personal op-ed in Harper's Bazaar.
Today, she is recognized as one of the most impactful hijabi models, with accolades ranging from presence on Vogue covers, held key roles such as Fashion Editor for Vogue Scandinavia, and partnerships with top industry brands such as Prada and Cartier.
